Rexona is hamam.... both are HUL products.... at first, rexona was supposed to become lux, but that did'nt happen.... the problem is that rexona customers donot shift to hamam because hamam is perceived very differently. Rexona was killed because Rexona has never been a volume/revenue contributor for HLL.

Vanilla Coke (COKE)was a line extension that largely cannibalized sales of Coke's other products. Three years after launch, fizzling demand led Coke to pull the product from the market. Thus the product was pruned.
