some controversy

Several years ago (in 1993) Pepsi released a new product out to the public. They called it Pepsi Max, similar to the Coca Cola Zero this product has only one calorie. Now a days not many people believe what they eat anymore. Some just don’t trust these brands, because they are known for their high calorie rates. So Pepsi wanted to try something that has probably never been done before, they created the “One very very very lonely calorie” suicidal ads. These ads show us in a humoristic way how there is only one lonely calorie in the Pepsi Max. These ads have sparked a lot of controversy for Pepsi, because many claim that these ads could relate to lonely people who are actually thinking about suicide. These ads can be seen below.
